PA State Inspection

All motor vehicles registered in Pennsylvania need a PA State Inspection once a year. Most commercial and passenger carrying vehicles are inspected on a semi-annual basis. The reason for vehicle inspection is simple. SAFETY!

Reducing Repair Costs

Studies across the country have shown state inspections actually reduce repair costs by identifying and repairing small problems before they turn into larger more expensive repairs. Most of our customers like their car inspected at least once a year to give them peace of mind that they are driving a safe vehicle and reduce the chances of being stranded with a breakdown. Plus the courtesy checks allow the opportunity to budget for future repairs or maintenance.

Who Does Emission Testing?

Autocamp Tire and Auto Service is a Pa Certified Emission Testing Station. An Emission Sticker must be affixed to the windshield before the Pa Safety Sticker can be attached. Just call for an appointment to have your car or light truck inspected in Pennsylvania.

Not all counties in Pa require the same Emission Testing. The counties in orange require OBD II testing of which Cumberland, Dauphin and York counties are part of that requirement.
